Our experience is that swimmers need no help whatsoever with their intuitive interface!

Membership Secretary Support

Your control panel is the simplest of all.

Add a Swimmer adds a swimmer to the database and makes a load of blank PB records ready for the swimmer to achieve and the PB Manager to enter.

Edit a Swimmer allows you to edit the details entered on the database. Some notes:

• Never delete swimmers. This will mean that swimmers who have left the club cannot hold records if you use or move up to PB Manager Extra. Instead simply add a leaving date. If the swimmer joins again just remove the leaving date again.
• Should you require any extra fields such as 'trial member' then just ask!

PB Manager Support

The PB Manager application (rather than PB Manager Extra) is quite a simple affair consisting of an editing menu that is very similar to the Swimmers' menu. If you select a swimmer's name you can edit their PBs. If you choose a stroke, a list of all the swimmers is presented to you together with their PBs. These are then editable.
If you have a phone connection to the internet, please save regularly. If the connection is dropped unsaved data will be lost.

Help with the further facilities available on the demo and the soon to be released PB Manager Extra will be forthcoming when the trial is complete.

Team Manager Support

The PB database is accessed via a different menu to that of the swimmers. This is all that is supplied in the basic package. Coaches, like swimmers have found it intuitive. The key difference is that an "Age At" date must be entered to get meaningful results. This however does very successfully sort out just those swimmers that you are interested in for an upcoming gala.

A big hint:
Choosing focused groups of swimmers produces small tables.
As these open in a new window each time it is posssible to resize the windows to produce a desktop full of small windows with lists that you can easily choose swimmers for different events from:

As the gala admin facility is still being tested, the support for this has not been written yet. It will be more detailed than the above sections as it is a more powerful application with several different ways of doing the same thing.
