What is PB Manager

PB Manager is a new web based application for managing a Swimming Club's PB database produced by the team at Cute Seal

The database is held on a remote server. The user interface is accessed through a web browser and so no software needs to be installed at any point on any computer. Your web manager will simply add a link to the various menus on your club web site.

Why do you need this software?

All your swimmers will have instant access to all their PBs and be able to compare them with other swimmers in the club. This will increase the competitiveness of all swimmers whatever their level and aid them in setting individual targets.

Team Managers will have instant access to accurate PBs for all swimmers and the ability to sort the data in a huge variety of ways all from an intuitive interface. This will greatly enhance their ability to select teams quickly and accurately

The PB Manager and Membership Secretary have separate and secure access to their parts of the database again ensuring accuracy of information. As swimmers regularly check their PBs the PB Manager is quickly notified of errors again aiding with accuracy.

Is that all?

Well actually no!

We are currently in the final stages of testing an add-on. With this software Team Managers build Squad lists and Team Sheets for upcoming Galas online and then add results after the event. The idea is that this is then accessed by the PB Manager who authorises the results at the click of a couple of buttons.

This automatically updates the PB Database with new PBs. (PB Managers may wish to re-read that last sentence). It also posts the results sheet to the web site with new PBs flagged.
